I Would Not Be Where I Am Without YPPC

“Young People’s Performing Company (YPPC) was founded in the spring of 1982 by Jeffryn and Ty Stephens as a non-profit corporation to provide teaching and performance opportunities in the dramatic arts for young people from kindergarten age through high school.”

I grew up in YPPC and it truly became my second home. I was able to explore theatre, perform in productions, and it was a place I could be myself. I owe more than I can ever repay to Jeffryn. Jeffryn Stephens gave her all to YPPC and the kids in YPPC. Jeffryn isn’t just passionate about providing a place for kids to be able to experience theatre, but also about providing a safe space for kids who may not have one. I wanted to include YPPC in my website because I think it is such an important place for so many people and I believe it will continue to be. Because of this, I want to provide a place for people to learn more about YPPC and to donate- you never know who will come across your website.

YPPC is located in Durham, North Carolina.
